The 23-year-old made an appearance in a Halloween spoof that Man City aired on their social media platforms, where injured teammate Kalvin Phillips tried to frighten his teammates while wearing a mask.
Haaland was unconcerned and the England star was unable to terrify him, but it caused a fan frenzy about his new hairstyle.
City supporters seem to love it, one said: “Haaland’s viking hair is brazy – he needs to run a match with this.”
Another said: “He looks like something out of a film.”
More fans commented: “It looks better that way.”

Some begged for the Norwegian striker to keep his hair in braids and tweeted Haaland to say: “Keep the hair, pleaseee.”
Later on, the ex-Borussia Dortmund striker was photographed at a Halloween party in a viking’s costume paying homage to his Scandinavian heritage.
Haaland further celebrated tweeting “Happy Haalandween” to his followers.
