Jennifer Lopez recounts her near-death experience while filming ‘Shotgun Wedding.’

In the movie “Shotgun Wedding,” Jennifer Lopez plays the role of Darcy. She, along with Tom (played by Josh Duhamel), invites their family and friends to attend their wedding on an island in the Philippines. Things take a turn for the worse when a group of criminals crashes the wedding and kidnaps all the guests, forcing Darcy and Tom to confront the gang.

There is a scene in the film where Darcy and Tom escape from the kidnappers’ vehicle. However, due to Darcy’s dress getting caught, she struggles to free herself before the car plunges into a ravine. This dramatic scene in “Shotgun Wedding” adds intensity to the storyline but was a terrifying experience for Jennifer Lopez.

The 54-year-old actress revealed that when filming this scene, she almost fell into the ravine, so the experience was naturally not pleasant at all, especially when Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel had their hands tied together.

“It was the moment when my dress got caught in the wheel. I was looking at Josh like, ‘Please don’t let go of me.’ And he was like, ‘I got you, if you fall, we both fall.’ It was crazy,” Jennifer Lopez recounted.

Not only did she play the lead role, but Jennifer Lopez also took on the role of a producer in “Shotgun Wedding.” This was also her first film as an actress and singer since marrying Ben Affleck.
