Velociraptor 6×6 or Goliath 6×6?

After the success of the 6-wheeled “giant” Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6, many car manufacturers around the world have also rushed to develop this car line. In the latest move, the famous American tuning company Hennessey Performance has announced detailed information about its upcoming Goliath 6×6 model.

Similar to the previous VelociRaptor 6×6, the Goliath 6×6 is a six-wheeled pickup truck based on the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss. In addition to the additional rear axle, the new six-wheeled monster is equipped with a custom bed, an 8-inch (203 mm) lift kit, and 20-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFG off-road tires.

Other notable upgrades include a strut tower brace for increased stability and balance, LED auxiliary lights, custom front/rear bumpers, and prominent Hennessey badges.

In addition to the styling changes, the new pickup truck is also equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine with a 2.9-liter turbocharger and a new stainless steel exhaust system. With these new upgrades, the car will have a capacity of 705 horsepower and 914 Nm of torque – an increase of 285 horsepower and Nm compared to the previous version. Thanks to the additional power, the new model can accelerate from 0-100km in just “about 4 seconds”.

If customers are not satisfied with the acceleration of the Goliath 6×6, Hennessey said it will launch a new engine upgrade option, with a capacity of up to 808 horsepower.

With its unique appearance and “huge” power, the Goliath 6×6 version will only be produced in a limited run of 24 units, with a starting price of $375,000. In addition, Hennessey also plans to offer a variety of different options including Brembo brakes and “custom interior upgrades.”
