Al Nassr continued their impressive form in the Saudi league by beating Al Hazm 5-1. Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane both scored in this match.
Marching to Al Hazm’s stadium, Al Nassr fielded their strongest squad in hopes of seeking a third consecutive win in the Saudi league. Two new recruits Aymeric Laporte and Otavio started alongside Marcelo Brozović, Sadio Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Midfielder Abdulrahman Ghareeb broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 33rd minute after an assist from Ronaldo. Three minutes later, Ghareeb passed the ball smoothly for Mane to score. However, VAR technology stepped in and denied Al Nassr a goal.
In the last minute of injury time of the 1st half, Abdullah Al-Khaibari got the 2nd goal for the visitors Al Nassr after a dangerous finish through the legs of goalkeeper Aymen Dahmen.
In the second half, striker Mohamed Badamosi had a goal to cut the gap to 2-1 for the hosts Al Hazm in the 2th minute with a long-range shot that put the ball into the high corner of the goal, beating goalkeeper Al-Aqidi. However, in the ensuing period, Al Nassr dominated thanks to Ronaldo’s explosiveness.
In the 57th minute, Ronaldo assisted compatriot Otavio to score to make it 3-1, with a close-range finish. The Portuguese superstar put his name on the scoreboard in the 68th minute with a header to make it 4-1. It was CR850’s 7th career goal.

With this victory, Al Nassr had their 3rd win from the beginning of the season and rose to 6th on the Saudi Arabian league standings with 9 points after 5 rounds, 4 points behind the top two teams Al Hilal and Al Taakoun.
