Yoda spent an unhappy childhood in a cage, alone and unnoticed because of her distinctive appearance: she was born with four ears due to a congenital mutation. 

Day by day, all the other cats were adopted and Yoda was left alone because people feared Yoda’s strange appearance.

But one day Yoda’s fate changed when the couple Valerie and Ted Rock came and saw him. Valerie said that as soon as she saw Yoda, she and her husband realized that this cat was their dream pet.

Valerie shared, that it was Yoda that chose them: “When it was brought near Ted, it climbed on his shoulder and fell asleep on it. Ted couldn’t say a word, everything was already decided. “

They decided to name the new member of the family Yoda because Valerie is a longtime Star Wars fan , she knew the character Yoda was inspired by the cat of director George Lucas.

After taking Yoda home, Valerie and her husband took Yoda to a general practitioner because they were worried about her mutant health. Fortunately, experts confirm that the 4-eared cat is completely healthy, its 2 extra ears are completely unaffected, it is painless and can hear normally.

Currently Yoda lives peacefully and happily with his owner and to prevent him from being kidnapped because of his strange appearance, Valerie has attached a GPS chip to Yoda.
