Daenerys Targaryen would definitely rock these sleeves
Between all of the Moncler puffer gowns and Rihanna’s latest Fenty look, there was a lot going on at the British Fashion Awards red carpet tonight; but Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke still made a show-stopping entrance with the help of a bold color palette and some killer sleeves.
The actress opted for a bright yellow gown from Schiaparelli’s Fall 2019 Couture collection that featured voluminous, floor-length sleeves dotted with matching feathers at the hem. (Anyone who’s watched GoT knows that Clarke’s character, Daenerys Targaryen, is also a fan of dramatic sleeves and capes.) On top of that, the look featured a cut-out slit under her chest and a rhinestone-covered skirt.
Keeping up with the monochrome theme, Clarke wrapped up in a coordinating coat to stay warm in the London winter temperature. She wore drop earrings with yellow-hued stones and gold strappy sandals, too.
Although Thrones may be over, Clarke has moved onto the holiday rom-com Last Christmas, which also stars Henry Golding, Emma Thompson, and Michelle Yeoh. She’s served some notable red carpet looks while promoting the film this season, including a chic black Prada dress with a daring center cut-out, which she wore to the U.K. premiere, and a sequined purple Valentino gown, which she sported to the premiere in New York.
