Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth have well and truly poured cold water over claims they are ‘drifting apart’ by posting some loved-up pictures from a recent ski trip together.

Elsa, 47, uploaded photos to Instagram on Friday showing her and husband Chris, 40, enjoying the holiday over the new year with friends and family.

One image showed the couple cuddling while dressed in red outfits in the kitchen of a lavish chalet. 

They were also captured on the slopes, with Chris giving a thumbs up as the pair sat in the snow waiting for their chair lift.

In another happy snap, Elsa wore a slinky yellow Fusalp bodysuit and snuggled into her husband.

Others showed Chris, Elsa and family and friends gathered for a group picture, including Chris’ best mate and fellow Hollywood star Matt Damon and his wife Luciana.

‘New Years at the snow with my love ones. Happy New Year to all of you,’ she wrote in the caption to the images. 

Chris and Elsa also hosted Christmas at their $20million Byron Bay pad.

The couple were joined on the day by their family, including Chris’ brother, Liam, 33, and Luke, 43, who got into the festive spirit by dressing up.

The Thor star shared photos and video from the Christmas lunch, where the clan ate a decadent feast in front of their infinity pool and sweeping ocean views.

Stunning in a grey slip on dress, the Fast and Furious star cosied up to her man for a selfie with Liam.

Chris showed off his bulging biceps in a white singlet top, which he teamed up with grey tracksuit pants.

Chris and Elsa, who have spent time holidaying separately in recent months, reunited recently as they enjoyed a family holiday in Fiji. 

Posting to Instagram, the pair each shared a gallery of happy holiday snaps showing themselves relaxing at the Tavarua Island Resort with their sons Tristan and Sasha, nine, and daughter India, 11. 

It comes after Chris and Elsa hosted Christmas at their $20million Byron Bay pad. The couple were joined on the day by their family, including Chris’ brother, Liam, 33, (right) and Luke, 43, who got into the festive spirit by dressing up 

Also joining the Hemsworths for their romantic getaway was Chris’ brother Luke and several other family friends. 

The posts comes amid claims they have ‘drifted apart as a couple’.

The genetically blessed duo, who have been married for more than 10 years, recently set tongues wagging that not all was well in paradise after they went on separate holidays.

A source close to the pair told In Touch magazine that despite maintaining a united front for their family and spending Christmas together, the duo have been growing apart for some time.

‘The status of Chris and Elsa’s marriage is a question mark,’ the source told the publication.

‘The separate vacations are a huge red flag, but it’s more than that. They’re still very much a united family, but they’ve drifted apart as a couple.’

The source claimed Chris wants to live a ‘simpler life’ but ‘Elsa wants more’.

‘They were the perfect husband-and-wife team for so long – both gorgeous, beautiful kids. Everything seemed picture-perfect. But things have definitely changed,’ they added.

Fans also recently grew concerned about the status of Chris and Elsa’s relationship. 

The chatter began when Elsa and the couple’s children put up the family Christmas tree at their Byron Bay mansion without Chris. 

‘Haven’t seen you and Chris together in a while. Hope all is good,’ one follower commented underneath photos the Spanish star posted of the Hemsworth clan decorating the home. 

‘Where is Chris?’ another worried fan wrote, as one pointed out the pair have been taking less photos together than usual. 

In October, Elsa, 47, jetted to Japan with the couple’s twin sons Tristan and Sasha without her husband. 

Meanwhile, Chris took their daughter India on a daddy-daughter getaway to Iceland. 

Both parents documented their separate holidays on social media at the time, leaving many confused as to why the mega-wealthy pair didn’t join their holiday plans. 

In November, the pair went on separate trips yet again. 

Elsa travelled back to her native Spain to attend The Woman Awards, where she posed up a storm in a daring backless gown.

Her husband was conspicuously absent, instead choosing to travel to Abu Dhabi for a family getaway with his genetically-blessed brothers Liam and Luke, their partners Gabrielle and Samantha and the famous siblings parents, Craig and Leonie.

It’s unclear whether India joined her mother or father for their respective trips. 

The action star was also in the United Arab Emirates capital to attend the F1 Grand Prix with his famous brothers and male pals. 

Chris then jetted off to Brazil to promote his new film Furiosa alongside co-star Anya-Taylor Joy. 

His three children stayed back in Australia with their mother, who shared a video of herself bike riding at the beach with the kids on Thursday morning. 

Chris and Elsa did spend time together in their hometown of Byron Bay in October.
