Cristiano Ronaldo was denied a first-half hat-trick and was incensed by an exceptionally harsh judgment

A shockingly harsh judgment prevented Cristiano Ronaldo from scoring a hat-trick for Al Nassr in the first half.

The five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or sprang highest in the penalty area and perfectly headed the ball into the top corner, but his goal was disallowed for a small nudge inside the box.

Ronaldo could be heard shouting expletives after the decision, exclaiming “Always against me!”

Ronaldo, 38, scored from the penalty spot once more in the 38th minute to put him on target after scoring from the spot just minutes earlier, giving him a hat-trick before halftime.

Later, he switched roles and provided the assist for Sadio Mane to make it 3-0 before halftime. Below is a video of Ronaldo’s goal that was disallowed.

It would have been Ronaldo’s second hat-trick in as many games had the goal been recognized. The famous Portuguese player will have an additional 45 minutes to make sure he catches the match ball.

Fans responded to the video on Twitter, expressing outrage at the choice and accusations of “corrupt” refereeing.

“Corruption against Al Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo continues,” one user wrote.

“It is getting too obvious, wow”, another added.

“Even Cristiano haters would agree that is blatant robbery”, a third exclaimed.
