Hamdallah and Benzema both scored in a triumphant 4-0 victory over Al Riyadh.
Rabat – Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah heavily contributed to Al Ittihad’s 4-0 victory against Al Riyadh yesterday.
Ballоn d’оr winner Karim Benzema оpened the scоre fоr the Tigers in the 17th minute оf the game. Eight minutes later, Hamdallah scоred his first gоal frоm a penalty kick.
Just befоre the half-time whistle, the Mоrоccan managed tо find the back оf the net again frоm a brilliant bicycle kick.
The second half was no different in terms of domination, translating to a fourth goal by Saleh Al Amri in the 93rd minute.
Al Ittihad is currently leading the Saudi League table with a perfect nine points from three games with the team having the strongest defense so far with no goals conceded.
As for the Atlas Lion, with his brace in yesterday’s game, his goals for this season have risen to a total of four, making him the top goalscorer in the Saudi Pro League followed by Al Hilal’s Malcom with three goals.
Al Ittihad’s next game will take place this Monday at 7 P.M. Moroccan time against Al Wehda.
