The decision comes after PSG drew 0-0 with Lorient on Saturday in their opening game of the 2023/24 season.
The star forward was not named to the matchday squad because he was training separately from the rest of the team owing to a contract disagreement. He sat in the stands, watching as his team failed to score without him.
Mbappe was forced to train with PSG’s ‘undesirables’, which included Neymar, after refusing to sign a contract extension.
His current deal expires in less than a year, and he has been extensively linked with a move to Real Madrid.
He has, however, returned to first-team training, with PSG confirming ‘excellent’ talks between the club and the player.
“Following very constructive and positive discussions between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe before the PSG – Lorient game, the player has been reinstated into the first team training squad this morning,” the statement reads.
Mbappe will train with the first team on Sunday and might feature against Toulouse the following Saturday.
He hasn’t had much time to train at PSG because he missed the club’s pre-season tour of Asia.
The France international has been the subject of feverish transfer speculation, with reports claiming he might join Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer.
Of course, PSG would prefer to prevent a situation in which he moves on a free transfer since they would like to be compensated for their prized asset.
Al Hilal, a Saudi Arabian club, made a hefty £259 million bid for Mbappe, but he declined to play in the Middle East.
According to reports, the World Cup winner may be willing to extend his contract at PSG, with Neymar allegedly close to sealing a deal with Al Hilal.
