HOLLYWOOD heart-throb Chris Hemsworth has admitted to feeling star struck as he watched the athletics with sprint legend Usain Bolt, describing the experience as the “highlight of my year”.
MEGASTAR Usain Bolt has swapped partying with lingerie-clad nightclub waitresses for hanging out with one of the sexiest men on the planet.
The world’s fastest man joked and laughed with Hollywood heart-throb Chris Hemsworth Thursday night while watching the athletics at Carrara Stadium, with the pair injecting serious starpower into the Commonwealth Games four nights before the closing ceremony.
Hemsworth spoke about being sat with Jamaican, admitting he felt star struck by the experience.
“I just met Usain Bolt, it was the highlight of my year. Big fan,” Hemsworth said. “I certainly did (get star stuck).”
He also joked on Twitter this morning that he’d “just recruited a new Avenger” in Bolt.
“He makes the flash look like he’s skateboarding in the sand,” he said.
Earlier this week, Hemsworth — best known for his role as Thor in the Avengers — was spotted with his parents Leonie and Craig attending multiple events.
“Commonwealth Games with Mum dad and @emerysurfboards #gc2018 yeoooooooow!!” he captioned a photo of his group while watching the men’s 100m race.
Bolt meanwhile, jetted into Queensland on Wednesday and was quick to hit the town and the DJ decks at a popular Surfers Paradise nightclub.
Bolt hit Sin City nightclub just before 1am on Thursday morning, making a surprise headlining performance on the main stage at the popular club.
Flanked by personal security guards, the 31-year-old was escorted through a back entrance and taken to a corner VIP booth where he was served by skimpily clad waitresses wearing bras, panties and suspenders.

He hit the decks about 3am, much to the delight of a packed club who cheered him through his set list.
His partying was followed by promotional work later Thursday during which he was asked about who might replace him as the superstar of the athletics world.
“Now that I’ve gone, they are always going to look for somebody else,” Bolt said.

“It doesn’t have to be the 100 or 200m — it doesn’t have to be in sprints — it just needs somebody with personality and somebody with the heart and the competition to do great.
“Hopefully someone will pick up the slack — I don’t know who it will be, but we’ll see.”
Bolt was also asked about compatriot Yohan Blake’s disappointing bronze in the men’s 100m final.
“I haven’t seen him, I haven’t texted him,” said Bolt, who is in Australia in an ambassadorial role.
“I’m waiting until I go the village and actually see him because I’m definitely going to make fun of him and stuff like that — that’s definitely going to be a good conversation!”
“It was a little bit shocking Blake didn’t win,” Bolt said.
