Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo are bringing excitement to fans, revealing their desire to have another daughter after having 3 sons.
Lionel Messi recently became a guest star on Olga TV, the online TV channel of comedian Migue Granados. In just over 35 minutes, the Argentine star talked about his career as well as many different aspects of his private life, including his family. “Are you a good father?” Migue asked so. Messi did not hesitate to answer: “Yes. I try to instill in my children the values I was taught as a child. I am who I am because of what I learned as a boy.”
Next, Inter Miami star Messi was asked about the possibility of having more children in the future. Messi surprised the audience when he revealed that although he and his wife Antonela did not participate in the search, they really wanted a baby girl. “Yes, I really want to. We’re not in the search, but I’d love to be. Let’s see if the baby comes,” the Inter Miami star admitted. After living together, Messi and Antonela have 3 children: Thiago – 10 years old, Mateo – 7 years old and Ciro – 5 years old.
The 36-year-old striker also revealed the routine he has created with his wife and children since moving to play for Inter Miami. “I finish training at 1pm, I go home and have lunch, sometimes I eat with Antonela or sometimes alone. I take a nap, then watch some favorite movie,” Messi shared.
Still according to Messi, at 9 p.m., after the children are asleep, it’s time for him and Antonela to chat or watch TV. Messi admitted that he also surfs the internet but likes to keep his opinions private. “I don’t often like or comment. I simply don’t like it,” Messi said.
During the interview, Messi also spoke about how much he admires his wife, whom he met when they were both teenagers. “Antonela is a good mother, I completely admire her,” Messi commented. “She spends 24 hours with the children. I travel a lot for matches, sometimes we go away for a month, even a month and a half.”
