Johnson just ran to the famous Equinox gym without checking in for a big workout
Late on Tuesday, actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson scared staffers at the Equinox Gym in Florida. He arrived in a rush without checking in while heading straight to the hotel’s gym to get himself a proper workout. After what seemed like a long day of working, the actor never had time as he arrived with his entourage of two people. Staffers at Equinox initially didn’t recognize who just rushed straight to the gym without checking in. Although none of them wanted to approach him directly because they reported he was too big and they likely feared him. People at the front desk were noticeably shaken by his arrival but they hesitated to address them. Eventually, one of the staffers did approach ‘The Rock‘ and asked him to check in.
A simple misunderstanding from Dwayne Johnson
According to Page Six, Johnson had no idea he caused such a stir and profusely apologized to the gym staff. He reportedly told the them that after a long flight, he had to get a good workout in. According to gym staffers, ‘The Rock’ eventually checked in and he even posed for selfies with fans on the way out. He truly caused a major commotion at first but people were delighted to have him once they realized who he was. Johnson does this pretty often when he makes trips to different cities in the United States but he also has his famous Iron Paradise gym that travels with him everywhere he goes.
As one of the busiest and most active celebrities in the world, Dwayne ‘The Rick’ Johnson has his own personal gym that follows him everywhere. A few massive trucks travel to cities where he plans to stay for weeks or months and they get it installed at a secret location inside the city. Johnson calls this personal gym the Iron Paradise. The problem is when he just lands after a flight, the man still needs his good workout and he sometimes has to use other gyms like last night. Although he probably already has his own staffers setting up that gym for him, assuming he will stay in Florida for a long time. This mostly happens when he is filming a project far away from home.
