Hulk Hogan’s Car Collection Now Includes a 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye

The last time we’ve talked about Hulk Hogan, the retired professional wrestler was changing the drag radials of his Dodge Demon in the pursuit of speed. More recently, Santa Claus has treated the 67-year-old Mopar aficionado with a brand-new Charger SRT Hellcat in Redeye flavor.

Priced from $78,595 excluding destination charge, the four-door land missile is optioned in Pitch Black for the body shell, Carbon Black for the double-spoke wheels, and red for the Brembo brake calipers. Based on the tread pattern, the car is rolling on 305/35 by 20-inch all-reason rubber boots.

Also equipped with Alcantara / Laguna seats and the Uconnect 4C NAV infotainment system, there’s no denying that Hogan spent more than $80,000 on his new ride. The Hulk has also posted a picture of the SRT Performance Pages menu, which lists the eight-speed transmission, traction control, and suspension in “street” mode while the steering is set in “sport.”

Designed and engineered to appeal to muscle car enthusiasts who want a bit of practicality in addition to tire-shredding capability, the Redeye swaps the 2.4-liter supercharger of the Hellcat for the 2.7-liter unit of the Demon. The screw-type supercharger produces 14.5 pounds per square inch of boost, which is noticeably more than the 11.6 PSI of the Hellcat variant.

A speedball of excess, the Redeye features two fuel pumps instead of one and a rather appalling fuel economy estimate. The Environmental Protection Agency lists the no-nonsense bruiser at 15 miles to the gallon (15.7 liters per 100 km) on the combined cycle, but on the other hand, that’s the same as a Bentley Continental GT, and one mile per gallon worse than a Rolls-Royce.

In addition to the blower, the Redeye borrows a few more Demon parts like the Power Chiller, After-Run Chiller, Torque Reserve, prop shafts, and half shafts. Capable of 60 mph (96 kph) in the mid-3s and a quarter-mile in the mid-10s, the most ludicrous Charger of them all is the world’s fastest sedan thanks to an eye-watering top speed of 203 miles per hour (327 kph).
